This may mean you will be waiting years to get PIP. and the the Disabled Facilities Grant, and if you are denied due to a error in your application you may have to wait month of mandatory reconsideration. 

There is another way; the private sector heath assessment route. The reality is our current systems are not fit for purpose - because let's be honest about it; there are too many people abusing the system.  If you are in Yorkshire and you are sure your child has ADHD or Autism or any learning development challenge. Fill in the application on Project CHILD; our Agentic AI will quickly assess you to see if you are likely to be eligible for DFC and PIP and many other benefits and funding pathways. We will refer you to a book a low-cost private sector assessment here; and you will only have to pay £280 for the referral - this helps pay for the AI data processing. You will however get your "Architects Deposit" for free; and these plans and drawings will be put forward to your occupational therapist. c

Once you get assessed you can get a grant up to £30,000 you may have heard that you can get an extension to your house but this fund has been abused by benefit fraudsters. We have another way; an IGLOO; and IGLOO is a Garden Annexe, is lightweight and does not count as structure, or count as being 'ancillary' to the homes. This makes the IGLOO a 'Chattel' - or 'Personal Property'.  No different than a disabled use vehichle. The CHILD IGLOO & the PAPA IGLOO is classed as "Plant & Machinery".

If you already have an occupational therapist they will need to assess the plans and drawings to show that they are an 'appropriate modification'. For mobility issues this is a no brainer. The IGLOO provides more downstairs space; and provides an place for independence for the child or elder that you are caring for.

The most nutritionally beneficial thing your child can do is play outside with other kids with no adults around telling them what to do. 

But! It's so dangerous for children these days - you cannot turn on the telly without learning about thugs and weirdos. In the past 'allo parenting' was far more common; with many women in organised church groups taking the villages childcare responsibilities at each others houses. These days a woman is expected to spend 2-5 years on her own with child; there is nothing to be said to support this other than it is thought of as safer. 

However; think of this - 1/3rd of all children graduate primary school without ever being taught by a man (source).  With many children being of single parent families -  No wonder many adults are fearful of the outside world.  There has to be another way to foster independence and courage. We think; that if we allow our children to use the garden as a place of their own - they will learn how to handle themselves on their own.
