NANA igloo is always 30m2; and always 2m away from the boundary; only for people with more than 60m2 of unused Garden Space. NANA is priced at 15,500 but could reach up to £32,000 with modifications and upgrades.

The purpose of NANA igloo is a “fast deploy” Granny Annexe; building anything with planning permission and to building codes and EPC and EICR take forever. The purpose of a Granny Annexe is a noble one; Mum is getting on – she swore she would not die in a care home – she took care of us for years and not it our turn. One of you two will take the carers allowance, we will apply for the Disabled Facilities Grant for Mum; and we will apply for the Personal Independence Payment since the doctor said she aren’t got long left; heaven really could be a place on earth and there are many people working towards this goal.

However; a whole other side of government stands in the way delaying the project down so by the time we have permission to break ground Mum has to. It is so sad; NANA igloo attempts to build a fully kitted out kitchen bed and bath in less than 3 months; and aims to be reusable too; so you don’t have to keep it if you don’t want to; and we will collect it and give it to someone else who needs familial palliative care.
