IGLOO CIC (Community Interest Company) Est 2025 Powered with Generative & Agentic AI. (formerly 'Hexayurt Project' - 2005)
Jackson (B5) and Emma (B6); have outwardly sloping walls. These designs are perfect for smaller gardens, or mid sized gardens where a large extension has reduced the permitted development zone. Perhaps you just don't want a playhouse to take up much space; and you like the idea of decorating the circumference with potted plans.
Jackson and Emma still have enough space to swing a cat; their desks can butt up to the walls; and we can custom build a fixed desk on brackets for them.
Jackson and Emma are always warm; the regular polygon design means that the heat is always reflected to a centre line running right through the igloo. With 100mm of insulation; (4 times the market standard) and a highly reflective surface finish - the igloo should not need heating; and is designed to be a simple tiny passive home.
Both designs feature standardized doors; with intumescent fireproof lining should you want a nice and secure fire door. Should you want windows - as per company policy these are always custom and installed on site - this means you can choose which neigbours can see what, and how much you value the self heating design.
Should Jackson and Emma bring a standard 100 watt laptop of game console with them; (or a large dog even!) then these igloos will reach 14 degrees provided it is under 5 degrees outside. Less cold means more productivity.
You can have windows anywhere you want; up to 350mm in width and 1000mmm in height.
