We designed Isabella Igloo for large families with small gardens. Like most BABA IGLOOs Isabella is used best for solo homework use; she occupies only a small amount of garden space; but has enough space to swing a cat at waist height. Isabella Igloo is specifically designed to have lots of desk space only it is needed, for only a small amount of permitted development rights being used up; this way you can get two; or get B5 for one child and B6 for another maybe.
At first you might want to use it just for storing children's outdoor things; as show. However as time goes on, and children get older and taller and school becomes more difficult and important you might want to call us back so that our for-profit arm can make timely modifications; FS&Is can install a custom build lightweight hard waring desk; and can add a layer of low density sound insulating foam creating a cosy curved interior.
The door for Isabella is a standard door size; meaning that it is impossible to grow out of.
In the arctic circle igloos are made from dense wind swept snow; we call our builds IGLOO because our material is a dense insulation composite that provides structure. The steel reinforces it to deal with tensile loads much like it does in concrete; but it is the 80kg/m3 foam that provides the compressive strength.
As standard we simply cover with resin after fibreglass meshing the seams and deliver it as is; no wood to rot, no exposed steel to rust, no exposed plastic to suffer UV damage. You may want our sister company FOAM SHEDS & IGLOOS Ltd to render the exterior; and again we will be using a silicone strand based fibreglass mesh product but this time with cement included in the mix.
